So I took this pie class this weekend at Sur La Table and it was great. I learned how to make the crust from scratch and how to make savory and sweet pies and got lots of good tips and new recipes.
So I had to try it out. And this is my first pie from scratch (using no grocery store crust) and it is nectarine and blackberry. It wasn't as successful as I'd liked as the crust was a little dry...but it takes just as good - says Eric.

I wish we had "smell & taste" computer technology. It looks WONDERFUL...and the fruit combination is very inventive. Can I put an order in?
yes, i'm thinking of giving up branding and going into sweets instead. much more fulfilling.
