Tango has officially passed Minnie in size. Weighing in at 13 lbs., he is now bigger than her.

Something Up My Sleeve

Well the saying, "something up your sleeve" was very true this morning when I found Minnie stuck in my sweatshirt sleeve. Not sure how it happened but she tried to curl up in my sweatshirt and wound up in the sleeve. I found her resigned to her stuck situation with her nose in the arm hole.


All I could see was Minnie's nose.

She looked like a bunch of socks had been stuffed up the sleeve. Funny, she wasn't struggling but just decided to wait until she was rescued.


This was really what she wanted instead.

National Pancake Day

Did you get your free stack of pancakes? Because we did. Us and the rest of America. And we met Miss Oregon. What more could you ask for on Fat Tuesday. Besides feeling very fat afterwards...thus the name.

Flowers!

These are the flowers that arrived as a surprise from Ohio! (they're actually from california but sent with love from ohio).

And we apologize for the lack of content on the blog. Very busy at work for both of us and we're juggling a bit with the schedule. Most weekend are spent catching up on sleep and cleaning. Sound like fun?

Martha would be so proud

Katie and I attempted to make special chocolate candies for our special valentines. While there was a little argument over cooking chocolate vs. baking chocolate with the specialty grocery store, they did turn out quite well. A little royal icing on top and they are the perfect valentines.

Hockey Game!!

We went with Jason and Carmen to see the Winterhawks (Portland's hockey team) play the Vancouver Giants. And yes, I finally did figure out who was playing. It was interesting to say the least. I just wanted 1 good fight. And I got it. We were also surrounded by Canadians...evidently I have to see the movie"Strange Brew" to understand half of the hockey references I heard last night....like "hoser."

Tango!

This is Tango, the newest member of the Williams family. Named in honor of Tanner. He's already settled into mischief by eating the rug and chewing on clothing. What else do you expect with a golden?
