Dave and Diane Visit

Aunt Diane and Uncle Dave Williams came to check out Portland this past weekend. So we did the tour de Days with a few new variations to keep it interesting. We headed out to Oregon Wine Country and checked out a bunch of new wineries (new to us) and then yesterday did the Mt. Hood thing and a wonderful restaurant called, Beast!

And I can't take credit for any of these photos, they are all courtesy of Uncle Dave.

The crew at our first stop in wine country.

For the first time, our visit to Timberline yielded bright blue sky and perfect views.

Our breakfast of Champions at the Farmer's market, biscuits and gravy, and fried chicken biscuit. We didn't eat all day to make up for it. I'm sure it all evened out.

At Timberline, snow up past the first floor windows. I've never been able to get a good picture until now..(and I didn't even take these, Dave did with his fancy camera).

The Gorge was a LITTLE windy. An understatement.

Minnie was quite the traveler this weekend. Here she is waiting very patiently.

Visit with the Williams'

Dave and Diane visited Portland so we all went out to beautiful wine country. We found some new places: Four Graces, Domaine Drohin, and Vista Hills.

Tomorrow is the Gorge!

Minnie on break. She is a very good traveler.

At our first stop, the Four Graces.

Lately

Well, it's funny how life changes in a week. One day you think one thing, the next, it's all different. That was this week. In the midst of chaos, I savor the little things. Like the fact that it is now light until 7:30, and that is was 60 degrees and sunny for 2 days in a row.

Like drinking on a rooftop deck in the sun. Matt is demonstrating.

The view from the rooftop.

And the animals. What would we do without them? Minnie, my jumping bug.

Chinese Garden

We had intended to spend the entire afternoon at the Home Remodeling and Renovation show but it kind of sucked, so we left and decided to be tourists for the day. We headed to the Chinese Garden to see the cherry blossoms coming out and have tea at the teahouse.

My, what a tiny little tea cup.

Jasmine tea.

Minnie and The Boss Man

Minnie has decided to make my boss her new best friend. She is determined to make him like her, despite the fact that she toots in his office during our meetings.

Minnie is a featured employee of ID in the upcoming new company website, due out this week!

What We Do Most Evenings

It's not glamorous but it's reality. We watch these two fight in front of the fireplace and frankly it's hilarious. It's free entertainment. Don't knock it til you try it. Have you ever seen a cat put a dog in a headlock?

We're behind

We suck. All we do is work. But lately it has been nice in Portland so all we do is enjoy the sunshine.

So this is what's been happening for the past 3 months. Well, I went to Columbus. Saw the family. Saw Jody and Joey. Saw some snow.

Eric is busy on his remodel. Check it out at http://blackflagredevelopment.wordpress.com/

I wish I had more to show for all the work we've been doing. But here are some pictures and videos!

Still not best friends but tolerating each other. Sort of.

The pet therapy dog.

Smile for the camera. Show those double chins. Both of you.

Small dog on a big hill. Of snow.

7 months and counting.

Minnie in the snow. She had her own little pee zone and everything shoveled for her ahead of time. Is that service or what?
