Handmade Wreaths

Sharon, Mariah and I made wreaths last night. We did it last year through Portland Nursery and decided this year to use the materials from my backyard! Eric was kind enough to cut pine branches, magnolia leaves, and other cuttings from the yard.

My wreath. I used magnolia leaves, rosemary, and pine.

It was Friday night, I am tired.

Sharon looking wonderful with her wreath.

The group.
Mariah's is au natural. (Mariah is our newest strategist).

More Christmas

It's been quite the drama here. With all the rain, we found out we REALLY need a back flow valve on the storm drain, otherwise the toilet in the basement overflows. YEAHHHH. yuck. I know more about drainage than I ever wanted to.

So we bought a white little Christmas tree since we won't have real one this year due to the short time we'll actually be here. If you're going to go fake, might as well go all the way.

Our theme this year was sparkly memories. Our ornament topped the tree.

Jeff did quite a nice job on all the drywall mudding

I am very excited about the built in cabinet so I can actually store china and pots! 3 coats from now on Sunday it will be done!

Christmas at Idaho

The paperwhites are starting to bloom! Thank you Kathy for the beautiful wreath!

Watching dad hang the wreath. A little to the left, the right...no, it's not centered.

The stocking are hung by the chimney with care.

Santa's helper is ready.
