Minnie's 1st Birthday Cake

Minnie's birthday was quite a hoot.

She will celebrate with a cupcake. The furry animals were circling while I was making both the cupcakes and the cake. Surprise surprise, both love the icing.

Eric's Birthday!

Eric celebrated his 29th birthday. I made a cake from scratch and broke in my wilton icing tips (very exciting). Lemon cake with coconut icing. Then I also made separate cupcakes for the animals for minnie's birthday - see above.

These are Eric's new business cards that he had created by our friend, Lucy Steadman, from FRCH. He started using them at the furniture show!

Gallery Opening 2008

Eric's chair was included in a gallery showing that opened on Wednesday Oct 1. ShowPDX http://www.showpdx.com/ had over 600 visitors the first night to the gallery in the architecture wing of Portland State University. Eric's chair was up on the mezzanine with some of the other larger pieces.

Eric's was one of the only fiberglass pieces in the show, looking very modern amongst the wood and crafty designs.

Notice that wonderful bio sheet! Yes, Eric's wonderful wife did that bio sheet, a work of art I must say.



Our friends from our office came to cheer Eric on during the opening night as well. We had a good showing that then went out to dinner afterwards. Hey, Kris Day even showed up!
